It is a very happy day in SATHYA LOKAM. DEVI SAARADA MAATHA is playing DIVINE MUSIC on HER VeeNa. THUMBURA and PARVATHA are playing on Percussion Instruments. PITHAAMAHA BRAHMA is very ecstatic and sInging VEDIC MUSIC. RAAGAM , THAANAM , PALLAVI in a very melodious voice. BRAHMA is tapping ThaaLam rhythmically on HIS Right Thigh. At that moment a BOY is born out of BRAHMA's Right Thigh. The Boy is Child Musical Prodigy from Day One. SAARADA DEVI took the young Boy into HER fold and taught all the finer nuances of Divine Classical Music - vocal and instrumental. SAARADA DEVI presented MAHATHI VeeNa to the Young Boy and BRAHMA taught the Boy all VEDAS etc. The Boy is pleased , proceeded to BRAHMA MAANASA SAROVARin KAILAAS , brought HOLY WATERS and washed the Feet Of BRAHMA and SAARADA DEVI . BRAHMA spontaneously named the Boy NAARADA = one who brought water. NAARA = water . DA = to bring.
As usual BRAHMA wanted NAARADA to get married , but NAARADA was influenced by HIS Elder Brothers SANAKA et al and BRAHMA was again disappointed . NAARADA had go through various Births - Gandharva, Naaradi , a Monkey-faced Hominid , Son of a King and lastly Son of a poor servant maid ; but throughout NAARADA retained knowledge of HIS previous Births and also HIS Musical Talent. NAARADA always is in constant touch with Vedic Philosophers. DAKSHA wanted His Sons Praachetas to marry, but NAARADA intervened and turned their mind away from family life; DAKSHA cursed NAARADA to become THRI LOKA SANCHAARI . That is how NAARADA became a Nomad, constantly on the move preaching Divine Knowledge - a Missionary for Sanaathana Dharma. , a trouble shooter, and timely interceptor of events to set things and people right. Eveybody loved NAARADA , but are wary .

NAARADA bestowed the Title of Musicians on Gabdharvas. He wrote NAARADA JYOTHISHA SAASTHRA, NAARADA SMRUTHI, NAARADA BHAKTHI SOOTHRAS and conveyed the essentials of all PURAANAAS to VEDA VYAAS. NAARADA is a DEVA - BRAHMA RISHI, and still LIVES amongst us. PRANAAMS TO NAARADA.
