Subhadra is born to Vasudeva and RohiNi after Vasudeva was released from the prison by Krishna Vaasudev. Subhadra is the youngest of Vasudeva's children; she is BalaRaama's sister and Krishna's cousin sister . BalaRaama was against in his very young sister Subhadra wedding much older and much married Arjuna . Krishna prevailed and saw to it that Subhadra is married to Arjuna , His favourite brother-in-law. Through out Paandava's AraNyavaasam and Ajnathavaasam and throughout The Kurukshethra War , Subhadra was staying either in Hasthinaapur or Dwaaraka . The only tragedy in her life is she lost her son son Abhimanyu in the war unjustly. Subhadra did not accompany Paandavas in their SwargaarohaNam. But Gods favoured her progeny. Her grand son Pareekshith became the king of Kaurava Kingdom . Subhadra and Utthara, mother of Pareekshith lived long enough to enjoy the Rule of Pareekshith.
