SATHI DEVI committed suicide
and LORD SHIVA was so upset HE sent VEERABHADRA and BHADRA KALI to destroy
the Yajnam which they did and taught an unforgettable lesson to not only
Daksha but other celestials also.
Now Daksha became more humble and came down to
earth.Something Good came out of SATHI DEVI's Suicide ; SHE Manifest in
ASHTTAADASA (18) Major Shakthi Peetthaas and DWI UTTHARA ARTHA SATHA (
52 ) minor Shakthi Kshethras. Among Daksha's daughters MOORTHY married
DHARMA and begat NARA- NARAAYAN RISHIS from whom OORVASI was born. Other
daughters ADITHI, DITHI, VINATHA , KADRUVA etc married KASHYAPA PRAJAAPATHI
and begat Aadithyas, Daithyas, Anoora , Garuda and all the serpents. SWAAHA
DEVI married AGNI DEVA and begat Pancha Agnis SWADHA DEVI married PITHRU
and begat various Pithru Devathalu. So is the Progeny of Daksha Prajaapathi
and Devi Prasoothi. Though an egoist Daksha Prajaapathi is a great Patriarch
and father of many noble ladies , some of whom are our ancestors. May
their progeny including all of our ancestors flourish and bless |
