An altruist Social Worker to the core :He as a Rotarian, participated in number of service camps, in the promotion of youth activities, and as President of Rotary Club of Machilipatnam conducted two eye camps - and later helped in the promotion of Polio Plus Programme .He served as District Secretary of Bharat Scouts and Guides, Krishna District and contributed to the development of the Scouting movement; conducted 14 district Rallies, was instrumental in the construction of the Scouts and Guides building , Diamond Jubilee Multipurpose Hall , a swimming pool in the District Camping Site at Machilipatnam and He elevated Krishna scouting to the national level by producing hundreds of President Scouts and Guides.
